Terms for using this website, joining the Dizaura Artists Network and using the optional Dizaura Artist Website service.

Website use
This website provides information about artists, events, articles, Dizaura Gallery and Dizaura Artists Network services. Information is provided in good faith and may be updated without prior notice. External links are provided for convenience and do not mean that Dizaura controls or endorses the content of third-party websites.
Free network membership
Membership of the Dizaura Artists Network is free.
Applications are reviewed by Dizaura before acceptance. This is to keep the network relevant, useful and consistent with its purpose. Applying does not guarantee acceptance.
Free membership currently includes:
- an artist profile on the Dizaura Artists Network website, with biography, discipline, links and up to 10 artwork images;
- the possibility to submit relevant exhibitions, open studios, workshops and artist news for publication;
- the monthly network newsletter;
- free access to Dizaura's periodic short online sessions;
- one structured annual profile update.
Dizaura may change or develop the free membership service over time. Where a material change affects existing members, Dizaura will communicate it reasonably in advance where practical.
Optional exhibitions at Dizaura Gallery and other separately agreed services are not included in free membership and may carry an additional charge.
Dizaura Artist Website service
Network members may choose to purchase the optional Dizaura Artist Website service.
The first-year fee is €75, including website setup using Dizaura's ready-made artist website format and the first 12 months of hosting and technical maintenance.
From the second year, the renewal fee is €30 per year. Renewal is invoiced annually and is not automatic.
Where VAT applies, it is included in the advertised price and shown on the invoice or payment confirmation.
The Artist Website service is template-based rather than bespoke web design. The structure, layout and available features are based on the Dizaura artist website format shown on the website at the time the service is ordered.
The service currently includes:
- creation of a standalone artist website using the Dizaura format;
- hosting and technical maintenance while the annual service remains active;
- presentation of the artist's biography, artwork, exhibitions, links and contact information;
- one structured content update during each paid service year.
Requests outside the standard format, substantial redesigns, additional development or additional content work may be quoted separately before work begins.
Consumer right of withdrawal
This section applies where the Artist Website service is purchased by a consumer and the statutory right of withdrawal applies.
A consumer normally has 14 calendar days from the conclusion of the service contract to withdraw without giving a reason.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must inform Dizaura of the decision to withdraw before the 14-day period expires. A clear statement sent by email to contact@dizaura.com is sufficient. The model withdrawal form below may also be used, but its use is not mandatory.
Starting the service during the 14-day withdrawal period
If a consumer wants Dizaura to begin the Artist Website service before the 14-day withdrawal period has ended, the consumer must expressly request this.
If the consumer withdraws after the service has started but before it has been fully completed, Dizaura may charge a proportionate amount for the work already carried out up to the time Dizaura is informed of the withdrawal.
Once the service has been fully performed, the right of withdrawal ends where the consumer expressly requested that the service begin during the withdrawal period and acknowledged that the right of withdrawal would be lost once the service had been fully performed.
Where a refund is due following a valid withdrawal, Dizaura will process it in accordance with the applicable consumer rules.

The statutory consumer withdrawal rules do not apply in the same way where the service is purchased for professional or business purposes.
Payment and renewal
Payment for the first-year Artist Website service may be made by bank transfer or PayPal using the payment options shown on the Join page.
Annual renewal is handled by invoice. Dizaura does not automatically charge the renewal fee unless this is separately and explicitly agreed.
If the annual renewal is not paid, Dizaura may stop hosting and maintaining the Artist Website after reasonable notice. Free membership of the Dizaura Artists Network may continue separately.
Artist content and copyright
Artists retain copyright in the artwork, photographs and text they own.
By supplying content for publication, the artist gives Dizaura a non-exclusive permission to reproduce, resize, format and display that material on the Dizaura Artists Network website, the artist's Dizaura-hosted website where applicable, and in network communications for the purpose of providing and promoting the relevant service.
Artists must have the right to provide the images, text, names and other material they submit. If material belongs to another photographer, writer, artist or rights holder, the artist is responsible for obtaining the necessary permission and supplying any required credit.
Dizaura may make minor editorial, technical or layout adjustments for consistency, accessibility and presentation. Material will not be presented as Dizaura's own artwork.
Applications and personal data
The membership application form is used only to review an application to the Dizaura Artists Network.
Dizaura does not create a member database from the initial application form. Application information may nevertheless be received and retained in Dizaura's email systems and by the form-processing provider for the purpose of transmitting the application.
Artists who are accepted will be contacted separately for the information and artwork needed to create their public profile.
Events and third-party transactions
Artists are responsible for the accuracy of event information they submit. Unless separately agreed, Dizaura is not the organiser, ticket seller or contracting party for events or artwork sales promoted through an artist profile or event listing.
Content standards
Dizaura may decline, edit or remove content that is unlawful, infringes third-party rights, contains misleading information, creates a security risk, or is clearly incompatible with the purpose and professional presentation of the network.
Availability and changes
Dizaura aims to keep the website and paid Artist Website services available and accurate but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, hosting issues, security incidents or circumstances outside Dizaura's reasonable control may temporarily affect availability.
Ending membership or services
An artist may ask to leave the free Dizaura Artists Network at any time.
Dizaura may end or suspend free membership where submitted content seriously breaches these terms, creates a legal or security risk, or where continuing the membership is no longer reasonably possible.
The paid Artist Website service continues for the paid service period. If the artist does not renew, Dizaura may stop hosting the website after the service period ends and after reasonable notice.
The consumer withdrawal rights described above, together with any other mandatory statutory consumer rights, remain unaffected.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where exclusion is not permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Dizaura is not responsible for indirect losses arising from third-party websites, independent artist sales, external event arrangements or temporary website unavailability.
Governing law
Belgian law applies. Any mandatory rights or jurisdiction rules applicable to consumers remain unaffected.
