Rosita Santens

Rosita Santens paints in acrylic, oil, pastel and mixed techniques, using the medium as a space for creative freedom.

Rosita Santens first discovered painting through KUMA art academy in Maldegem. After life took her in another direction, photography later reawakened her creative drive, but she eventually returned to painting in search of greater artistic freedom.

She now works with acrylic, oil, pastel and other media. The variety of techniques allows her to keep experimenting and to translate ideas directly onto canvas. Her practice is shaped by curiosity and by a desire to continue developing within the open-ended possibilities of painting.
