Marina Ploegh

Marina Ploegh creates ceramic sculpture and vessels with architectural lines, restrained colour and an experimental approach to form.

Marina Ploegh discovered clay around fifteen years ago and it has since become an essential part of her creative life. She makes sculpture, vessels and other forms according to what captures her interest at a particular moment.

Her work often uses clean, architectural lines, planes and structures. White and neutral tones allow the shape itself to remain the focus, while each piece becomes a new experiment in proportion, surface and construction. She trained at the Art Academy in Wetteren.
