Katie Fack works in acrylic, oil, graphite and pastel, with colour and light playing a central role.

Katie Fack has long considered creativity a guiding thread in her life. In 2011 she enrolled at the art academy in Wetteren, where her interest in painting and drawing developed into an ongoing practice.

She paints in acrylic and oil and draws mainly with graphite and pastel. Colour and light are important elements in her work. Her subjects are often chosen simply because they move her or because she finds them beautiful, leaving room for visual pleasure without requiring every work to carry an explicit message.
